Toys for Tots Drive
What is it?
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. The program was founded in 1947 by reservist Major Bill Hendricks.
When?
During the days of November 21-December 16th our organization is having its own drive to help the non-profit find toys for underprivileged kids.
How to Help?
We would like to set up booths on campus to inform the student body and get them to donate for the cause. We need as many volunteers to have the booth's running and we can work with any time frame that you want to volunteer. Contact Jeniffer Skinner for more information.

Build-A-Bed Workshop
What is it?
Build a bed workshop is an event hosted by FRANDS to build beds our of sweaters for Dallas Animal Services. The beds would go to animals that are up for adoption at the shelter.
When?
From the week of October 31- November 4th,2016 FRANDS will be collecting old sweater to make as beds for animals in need. On November 8th,2016 we will make the workshop and show you how to build a bed. No materials are required, we will provide the stuffing for the beds.
How to help?
Donate a sweater during the drive week or provide assistance on the actual day of the workshop.
